Not in the Seattle Area? Work with me Virtually
I’m here for you… remotely
Thanks to a few guinea pigs, I’ve been able to create a virtual service offering. This is perfect for those who don’t live in the Seattle area or those looking to save some money and just want a plan to execute their home organization.
What do you get? With my virtual service you will receive:
3D rendering of your organized space
Plan-o-gram “roadmap” of where to place and how to store your items
Product list for you to purchase the items needed to execute
Recommendation on how much/what to edit to achieve this look
3x 30 minute virtual calls throughout the process
Unlimited email or slack conversation throughout the project
Are you the right person for this service? It takes an especially motivated individual to work through virtual organization. As you can imagine it is very different from someone stepping into your home and physically assessing your belongings.
Someone with the following traits would find success: detail oriented, communicates frequently, and has the motivation to work independently when given direction. It’s not to say you couldn’t utilize this service without those traits, but let’s talk about it first (seriously, call me and let’s see if it’s the right fit).
How does it work? As with all my services, I start with a free 30 min virtual consultation to understand your goals and get a view of your space. We will hone in on the area(s) that you want to tackle. From there I will provide an estimate for the project cost. Pricing will vary based on size and complexity of the space. For context, an average closet or small pantry will typically run from 3-5 hours.
BEFORE: I will provide a guide for measurement. The onus will be on you to provide precise measurements. I cannot emphasize how important this part of the process is. The attention to detail is paramount, so things like angles, odd corners, brackets, braces and other protrusions need to be accounted for. Additionally, I will ask you to provide an inventory of the items to be stored this in space, along with the prioritization of the items. Ex. for a coat closet, it would be important to note that you have a big collection of winter hats that you want to have easy access to. Every detail is important when I cannot assess it in person; the more detail the better (I really don’t mind super long emails, I love reading).
VISION: Once I have all measurements, I get to work with space planning and product selection, which is then used to create a 3D render of your space (~5 business day turnaround). You will have the opportunity for 1 round of revisions, additional rounds would result in additional cost and time (again which is why accurate measurement, communication of spacial nuances, and item priorities are crucial).
INSTRUCTION: When an agreed item allocation is achieved, the final deliverables will be generated: 3D render, plan-o-gram, declutter recommendation, and shopping list. The shopping list will be complete with images of the product, placement details, and link to purchase.
AFTER: From there, the rest is up to you (again, this takes a specific personality to achieve success with virtual organization). The final product may vary based on what you choose to store, how you store and the products you purchase.
I’m always a cheerleader for someone who is ready and willing to establish order in their home. Only you will know the best path for you. My advice, start before you’re ready.
